I liked this image of the single drop of water and the accompanying splash. Water is associated with life, and recent science suggests water molecules may have been carried within meteors. Now when space scientists look for life, they look for water. Within the picture the ripples travel out, bringing to mind an idea in physics that water can hold 'memories' of disturbance within it. The reflection of the splash reminds us of the ever present idea in astrology 'what is above is also below'. The line arising from peak of the reflected splash through the water surface upwards into the 'true' peak of water also serves as a reminder of the journey of the soul from the past, through now into the future.
The second picture of shallow water moving over pebbles, is again on the water theme, but this time represents the relationship between the elements, water over time smooths stone into rounded pebbles. The water reflects the sunlight, and waves are created by obstacles in the water's path.
The third picture is accompanied by two from the same 'family'. These are images of moving wax, like in lava lamps. Their shape and apparent movement reninds me of the slow movement of bodies in space.
At the bottom of the homepage is 'The Tree of Life 2' by Rajon...click on the link to see their full gallery. I have several 'Rajon' prints in my home, and their colourful imagery is much commented on by all visitors. It's not only the clean, clear images that attract... their designs seem to tap some deep sensations. A 10-year old visitor spotted them immediately and asked me to take them down...he stared at them for a few minutes, then chatted about how he felt in response to them...and why the images did that. For myself they assist in meditation...seeming to take the subconscious to where you would like it to go.
